After only 7 hours in office, Sweden's first female prime minister resigns from her position. Magdalena Andersson resigned after he budget plan was defeated in parliament and 2 of her party members also left. As the first ever female prime minister of Sweden, Andersson stated that respect was important to her but she also did not want to be a part of a government that who's legitimacy is questioned frequently. Although she wasn't in office for much time, she has still marked a special event in history and it showed that women can have a say and place in the government.
