Biden says he's considering US diplomatic boycott of Beijing Olympics

President Biden is saying that he might not allow the United States to go over towards China's Olympics that they are holding this year. This would be the first time in a long time that the United States would not go to the Olympics. The last time this happened was in the 1980s and multiple allies joined in with not participating in the Olympics. One of the main reasons as to why they are currently deciding right now as to why not to go is because of the problems that have been going on with the incidents of human rights and how china has been violating them. I think it is very interesting that republicans and democrats are both agreeing that they should not join in on the Olympics this year. I think it would be very interesting to see what happens with the relationship between the two after a decision is made.
