Two highly prominent leaders of our world, Xi Jinping (China) and Vladimir Putin (Russia), are set to meet in person for the first time since early 2020 at the start of the coronavirus pandemic in Uzbekistan. This is quite an important meeting for the two of them as Xi is looking to have a third term in China and Putin is looking to better Russia's relations with Foreign states as the west has completely fallen out with Russia since the invasion of Ukraine. This is also the first time in two years that Xi has traveled outside of China due to the pandemic. Both countries believe to have good standings with one another and hope that this meeting will reinforce their positive standing with one another.
