Putin threatens to restrict Ukrainian grain exports for European countries, accusing them of acting 'like colonial powers'

 During his speech on Wednesday, Putin used data that did not match up with UN numbers to suggest that only 3% of the grain from Ukraine was going to developing countries. The UN data states that about 30% of Ukraine's "grains and other foodstuffs" exports go to lower income countries. This discrepancy is an attempt by the Russian President to blame global food shortages on the West rather than Russia. However, the Russian invasion has trapped exports in Ukraine in recent months.
