Haiti Growing More Violent

Ever since July 7, 2021, when the assassination of President Jovenel Moise occurred Haiti has gotten more and more unstable. Citizens in Haiti are protesting for a safer environment and more affordable goods. Most importantly the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry. People have been constantly protesting and starting to get more violent. Once there were gunshots and a growing number of protestors Haitian Prime Minister Henry released a statement saying that she was aware of the seriousness of the situation and would take several measures to help. With inflation all over the world becoming worse and worse the inflation in Haiti still seems outrageous at 30% increase. This is a serious issue, and more attention should be brought to the issue and more resources should be provided for the citizens of Haiti.
