Margherita Stancatti and Marcus Walker reporters from the "Wall Street Journal" wrote an article on September 26 of this year called "Italy's Election Winner Will Have to Work With Europe on Economy." In this article, the reporters talk about how Georgia Meloni the new Prime Minister of Italy has to cooperate with the European Union on the economy. Mrs. Meloni has to cooperate with the European Union because of the energy crisis and the looming recession in Europe. She will have problems reassuring the EU that she will not destabilize the block since in the past she had criticized the EU members. Mrs. Meloni has distanced herself from the legacy of her party and reassures she is moderate and will not create problems within the EU. Finally, as the energy crisis continue she cannot go with her nationalist policies because first, she has to tame the energy crisis in order to protect the country from further problems.
