On Thursday afternoon Queen Elizabeth, the UK's longest reigning monarch of 70 years, passed away in Scotland at the Balmoral Castle. Her son Charles is set to inherit the throne today, only two days after the new Prime Minister Liz Truss was sworn in.
There has been a scramble on the media's behalf to sum up her astounding accomplishments, which could never be crammed into a small condensed document. As I mentioned above, it is important to note her tenure in office, as she is the world's second longest reigning monarch.
