Slavery Czar?

The interview between Dan Rathers and Luis Cdebaca this week carried more significance than any mere press release for those of us who actively study to bring about the downfall of global slavery- mainly in the use of terminology implying the creation of a "tsarian" position for an official slavery and trafficking abolition office. Human trafficking is now regarded as just as damaging as global warming or AIDS, in that a regulatory office is in creation for the patrolling of international markets, a major step towards increased advocacy. CNN's Freedom Project promises to bring us more news of the continued war for human rights, as well as practical admonitions like this article on how consumer America can aid in the process. No matter how grim the circumstances, justice is slowly pushing its way up through the group for victims everywhere.
