Boko Haram recently lead an attack on the Nigerian city of Maiduguri. This is the second attack on the city in two weeks. The Nigerian troops were able to stop the first attack, but no new news has come in about the most recent attack. The attack of the city has the two million citizens and refugees worried about the outcome. This attack not only effects the citizens of the city but also an upcoming national election which has been put on hold because a large majority of the population is under Boko Haram control. The opposing party has labeled this as a stall tactic and is urging for the election to continue. With all that is happening now elections will probably be postponed, but the current president is under much pressure.
