Bombing Results in US Hostage's Death

After burning the Jordanian hostage, Moath al-Kasasbeh, Jordan started commencing air strikes on ISIS.  During one of these air strikes on a military weapon warehouse ISIS claims that a US hostage was killed by the strike.  They showed a video with the building in rubble and a body who was identified by the family of the hostage.  However, skeptics are saying that because the building was not smoking (suggesting delay in the capturing of the video) and the building was a weapon warehouse, there is no way they would hold a hostage in that location.  Others also skeptical say that the Jordanian war planes would be flying much too high to be recognizable to those in the ground.

This recent event gives ISIS a big advantage in this conflict.  The first time a country retaliates to ISIS killing hostages they may have accidently killed a hostage themselves.  Even if this turns out to not be true it shows the extreme caution larger states must take in attacking an organization like ISIS.  It goes to show that being an organization is a huge advantage in terms of being able to move quickly and hide themselves in other countries.  If it is true that Jordan accidently killed a hostage it will enrage the populace of both countries still leaving the countries at a disadvantage.  In either case a country must be more precise in how they attack an organization.  I think we should avoid creating another case where innocent people die in a bombing from another country.
