Second Japanese Hostage Beheaded

Islamic State militants have reported that they have beheaded their second Japanese hostage, journalist Kenji Goto. The beheading was publicized in the usual fashion, a video from the Islamic State. Exactly a week before, footage of the first Japanese hostage, Haruna Yukawa, was released showing his beheaded body. This new video did not mention the Jordanian pilot who was said to be held along with Goto. The United States, Britain and France all condemned the killing; Barack Obama is reported that the US would 'continue to work with allies to destroy the hardline Islamist group.'
