Bolivian President Evo Morales steps down following accusations of election fraud

After a flawed election on October 20th, many protests, and three dead, Bolivian President Evo Morales has resigned from office. He said that he is stepping down for the good of the country and that he regrets this deeply. It is not exactly clear who will take his place. The people who were in line for the position have also resigned as the day went along. The second Vice president of the senate said that she would be willing to fill the role, but it is unclear if she will. The US state department is keeping a close eye on Bolivia as these events unfold.
