Spanish Court Says Rape Wasn't Rape - The People Beg a Differ

5 Spanish men charged with raping an unconscious 14 year girl in the Catalonia region of Spain, were recently found guilty of sexual abuse by a Spanish Court, receiving 12 years prison sentence. A lot of people weren't happy with this at all, because the court said that since the girl was unconscious, it wasn't forcible sex, saying that she could have consented but also couldn't have refused. Protests in the area started immediately because everybody else thought that it was rape. There are many critics of Spanish Law that does not consider this heinous act act rape. The hashtag #NoEsAbusoEsViolaciĆ³n started trending on Twitter in response. \
