"Dehli Air Quality: Judges Accuse Authorities of 'passing the buck'"

India's highest court accused the state governments of "passing the buck" on air pollution because of a lack to take action to tackle the toxic smog. The Supreme Court stated that authorities were only interested in "gimmicks", rather than searching for more concrete measures to combat pollution levels. This is majorly affecting three major cities. It seems as if nothing can be done at this point because of how bad it has gotten. Even still, there should be some form of action taken in an attempt to fight back. They want to try a system where cars with even license plates drive on one day and then odd license plates drive on the next day but it isn't clear at this time if this will truly lower pollution levels.
