Kim Jung Un watched air force drills for the second time in 3 days. He is doing this amidst the U.S and South Korea scaling down their combat drills in hopes of re-initiating talks of denuclearization of North Korea. Washington has denied that this move has resulted in another concession to Pyongyang. The drills that the U.S has scaled down their drills known as the Combined Flying Training Event which simulates air combat scenarios and a classified amount of warplanes from the United States and South Korea. Kim, in regards to North Korea's drills, said that "It is necessary to wage a drill without notice under the simulated conditions of real war" for improving the preparedness." Trump, on Sunday told Kim that he should act quickly and that he will see him soon.
