Severe weather shifts boat stuck on Niagara Falls rocks for 101 years

August of 1918 two men aboard The Iron Scow cargo ship were rescued after the ship was wedged into the upper rapids of Niagra Falls. Up until today, the ship remained in the same place because the boat company did not think that it was worth salvaging. Heavy wind and rain that began on Halloween is the reason why the ship began to shift. According to a man on the scene, it flipped onto its side, spun around and moved downriver about 50 meters.  It is now a guessing game for the people who work on the river. It could move more any minute or it could be another hundred years before it is moved again.
