2nd Japanese hostage was killed(?)

ISIS claimed that they had beheaded 2nd Japanese hostage, Kenji Goto. Japan and Jordanian governments did not give in their demands that releasing the suicide bomer, Sajida al-Rishawi for Mr. Goto.
Now ISIS demands to exchange her for First LT. Moaz al-Kasasbeh, was the fate of Jordanian pilot. Jordanian government had agreed to release Ms. Rishawi only if they could check the pilot was alive.
I got really sad after I read this article. I cannot understand why terrorists kill people who are not their enemy. This is the first time for Japan that Japanese people got executed by terrorists. In Japan, now people have different opinions about this issue. Some people says we should have saved his life and the other says that was his fault and he must have prepared that he might have caught by terrorists. I could understand both opinions but I think it is too complicated. However, as a result, I think Japanese government chose better way. This time our citizens were killed, this fact is very sad, but it means we, Japan did not give in to terrorists. Moreover, if we fulfilled the demands of ISIS, they would have motivation to threaten international society more and more. I think this issue will change our policy against terrorism. We should deal with this problem for not only international society but also the late two Japanese hostages.
