British Journalist Expelled from North Korea

Rupert Wingfield-Hayes is a BBC journalist who was banished from North Korea on Monday. He was stopped and detained at the airport Friday before getting on his plane to go home. He was detained for "speaking ill" of the government. Wingfield-Hayes wrote an apology for the act and was sent home Monday with the inability to ever return to the country. He had been in North Korea to cover North Korea's first party congress in over 36 years along with 100 other foreign reporters.
