Tanzanian President fires minister accused of being drunk in parliament

Tanzanian President John Magufuli recently fired a minister dealing with house affairs from presumably being under the influence speaking at a parliament meeting. Even though much is not known on the actual details of the incident, it is just another example of Magufuli not tolerating any nonsense within the governmental system.

Since he was sworn in last November, his prime duty has been to rid their government of any corruption that may have taken place. This immediate removal of the minister is just a prime example of his direct action against it.
