Trump-like Mayor to Possibly be Next President of Philippines

Rodrigo Duterte, a 71 year-old ex-prosecutor has been spiking the interest of many in the Philippines. As he runs for President, he has littered his campaign with foul language and crude jokes. Current president Benigno Aquino III calls Duterte a "threat to democracy" as he has already threatened to shut down congress if they try to limit his power. He has promised his country to kill criminals and end corruption within the first six months of his presidency and even threatens to kill those using drugs. Luckily there are four other candidates running for presidency this election and tension runs high as there has already been 15 election-related deaths.
