"In the impeachment case, she is not facing charges of graft. Instead, she is accused of using money from giant public banks to cover budget gaps, damaging Brazil’s economic credibility."
The President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, is being pressured for impeachment. However, those in Brazilian office pressuring impeachment also face charges for stealing and fraud. On the bright side, she did not steal money for herself but to help the nation during its worst economic crisis in decades. 60 percent of the 594 members of Brazil's congress are facing charges for bribery, electoral fraud, illegal deforestation, kidnapping, and homocide. Rousseff is very unpopular and resented in Brazil and is being judged differently for doing the same things as past presidents. Brazil has a serious corruption problem and impeaching one president while retaining the many corrupt members of congress and the senate will solve nothing.
