Russian Fighter Buzzes U.S. Air Force Plane Over Baltic Sea

Over the last few weeks, Russia has been playing a fun game of "chicken" with the United States in Europe. Because of the increase in terrorism in Europe and the Middle East, the US has increased its presence in the air and in water. The fact that those airspace's and water boundaries are creeping ever further east towards Russia, our friends over there have responded by playing dangerous games of chicken with our military. This article specifically talks about how a Russian aircraft on this last Thursday came within 50 feet of an American aircraft and followed its close encounter by executing a risky barrel roll to divert away. There have been other instances as well a few days before this in which Russian aircraft flew in a simulated attack sequence over an American warship. These actions have drastically escalated tensions between the two nations to near cold war levels. Hopefully these risky actions by Russia will remain as ridiculous games and keep violence out of the picture.
