Following the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris, two women came across mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud hiding in a bush. One woman, his cousin, was eager to help him hide from the authorities. Her companion, however, later contacted authorities while the other two were away, leading to a raid by French police on their apartment where both Abdelhamid and his cousin were killed by a suicide bomb. Now, the Washington Post has gained access to French documents concerning the raid, as well as an interview by the second woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, in order to tell the story of the events leading up to the raid that killed the mastermind of the Paris attacks.
