Nuclear Deal Puts US Between Iran and a Hard Place

by Matthew Lee, ABC News on April 10th 2016

The Obama Administration has recently agreed to a nuclear deal with Iran. This is raising questions in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as some members of Congress. Some members of Congress do support the deal that Obama has struck up with Iran but most fear it as America is forbidden to have American commerce with most of the Islamic States. It is clear that Barack Obama wants the relationship to be a part of his legacy of peace and global commerce. These ideas and efforts pushed by the President may seem contradicting as Iranians continue to be condemned for actions like the support of terrorist groups and ignorance towards Israel. Other countries are now asking the US for the details in about what Iran is able to do or not do now. Other nations want to be sure that this new agreement does not end up poorly for them in respect to their relations and dealings with Iran. It will be interesting to watch and see what happens with the deal with the next president. The Republican candidates have made it known that they will rip up the deal if elected into office, but what's to say if a Democratic candidate is elected?
