On April 18, 2018, Amazon said that the median pay for its employees was around $28,446. However, at least half of the Amazon’s workers earned less than that amount. Jeff Bezos, the Amazon’s CEO received a total compensation of around $1.68 million last year. There are two sides to Amazon, the people who work in the technical roles and those who work in the warehouses and the grocery stores. Amazon has more than half a million employees worldwide and is continuing to grow. Amazon has created more than 130,000 jobs last year alone and these jobs cover a wide range from intelligent scientists to packaging specialists.
