After Russia has been accused of poising Sergei and Yulia Skripal, they are responding to the UN by attempting humor and an apparent lack of seriousness. One example, includes when they posted on social media asking if the two victims pets were poisoned as well and if they were doing okay. According to CNN news, Russia is responding this way as a tactic to distract the UN from the fact that they are responsible for attempted murder. They want to create confusion for the public and delay their upcoming punishment. However, the UN is not listening to Russia's humor or false accusations. The UN is taking this threat seriously and recognizing that if Russia is willing to harm citizens of the UK, other countries are also at risk.
