For the first time in history, the President of the United States is slated to speak directly to the Supreme Leader of North Korea. A summit involving Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un is scheduled to occur in May, and although there are no guarantees, North Korea claims they are prepared to discuss the dissolution of their nuclear arsenal. In addition, Kim is scheduled to meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the Korean DMZ later this month, and the outcome of one meeting may very well determine the other.
