According to the New York Times, President Trump said today that he is planning to meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in May or June. This would be a historic meeting between the two leaders as the past year has been filled with tension and threats of nuclear missile attacks between North Korea and the U.S. Trump recently said "Hopefully we will be able to make a deal on the de-nuking of North Korea. They've said so. We've said so. Hopefully it will be a relationship that's much different than it's been for many, many years."
It will be interesting to see if the two sides can come to an agreement and end their nuclear arms race. I thought it was refreshing to finally see some good news coming out of the U.S and North Korea negotiations.
