71 residents of Tlahuelilpan, Mexico are reported dead after a ruptured fuel line triggered a sudden explosion

71 residents of Tlahuelilpan, Mexico are reported dead after a ruptured fuel line triggered a sudden explosion. On Friday, after a fuel line started leaking, residents of the town raced to fill up their buckets. Due to the Mexican government's recent crackdown on gas theft, some Mexican cities are suffering from gas shortages, which some residents of Tlahuelilpan say was the cause for the rush to the leak. President Lopez Obrador's stance and policy toward gas will certainly face more scrutiny after a catastrophe.
