European court orders Italy to pay damages to Amanda Knox

Since the tragic incident that happened in the early 2000's to a British woman who was found murdered in an apartment she shared with her American roommate Amanda Knox. Now after Knox has spent a great deal of her life, freedom, and time is finally being paid back for his ordeals when she was being held by Paris authorities. She was sentenced to 26 years in prison for a crime she did not commit or have anything to do with the murder. After all of that, the European top human rights courts ruled this past Thursday for Italy to pay Knox 18,400 Euros which is about 20,800 in American dollars. They ruled in this decision because they felt her rights were taken away from her by not giving her a lawyer or a credible interpreter during her time in the Paris jail.
