Despite concessions from French President Emmanuel Macron, roughly 84,000 protesters took to the streets across the country yesterday. In an effort to combat the steady fervor, he went to rural parts of France to debate with local leaders. However, the general qualms of the public in regards to taxes and the cost of living provides fuel for the ongoing national debate. Like the shutdown in the U.S. right now, who knows who will give in first.
