It has become a ritual that the United States take a moment in  to remember the victims of the terror attacks in Manhattan, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon. Many of these places have many memorials and museums to gain awareness of the suffering such as firefighters, police, and other first responders who died or became kill after inhaling the debris. Many survivors have major health issues to this day from toxins released during 9/11. I think it is important that all states should take a moment of silence instead of states that were affected because there were so many people who died and did not have residence there. I also think it is important that elementary, junior high, and high-school have time set aside where teachers discuss 9/11 because this tragedy has strongly effected the United States. One thing I can think on top of my head is the increase of security in airports globally, especially in the US.  ID must be present and match their ticket, travelers had to remove shoes at checkpoints, extra screens are administered, and more. Overall, 9/11 has took so many lives and was truly a tragedy; therefore, we should take a moment of silence to remember those were impacted and always be thankful for those who were not effected or survived.
