Identity Theft in Space

The Astronaut Anne McClain is the first ever to commit a crime in space, specifically on the International Space Station from a NASA computer. Her ex-wife, Summer Worden, accused McClain of identity theft after looking at her bank account through the NASA computer. This crime is important, although seemingly uninteresting, as it leads the precedent for further crimes that may be committed in space. Both involved were from the United States, leading the States to take charge for the crime. It leads others to wonder what would have happened if it was between international members in space, as there is no true way to handle these crimes.
