A UN investigative committee has suggested that the US, UK, France, and Iran are complicit in war crimes taking place in Yemen. While none of these countries have been accused of carrying out the crimes themselves, they have all been supplying arms to the groups that are committing these crimes. The UN committee has also suggested that the parties involved in the Yemen conflict have been enjoying a lack of accountability allowing them to get away with torture, sexual harassment, and other crimes. This report came a day after the deadliest attack this year where 110 prisoners of war were killed in a prison bombing. The UN is hoping that by stopping the importation of arms into the country, the war that has been raging since 2015 will start to head towards a conclusion.
