The unnamed man was caught while going through a passport check. He is believed to be the man who hijacked a flight in 1985. The flight had one casualty, a U.S. Navy diver. When he allegedly hijacked the plane. he was with a group that many thought was Hezbollah, the Islamist extremist group. This alleged man is also wanted for a kidnapping that was done in 1987. Until German officials can identify him, he is being held in a high-security prison in Greece.
The 1985 flight that was hijacked had 153 passengers and crew and were kept for 17 days. Their ransom was Lebanese people to be freed.
