Asylum applicants seeking refuge increasing numbers in Latin America

It has not been anything new that Trump has tightened the the U.S. border to asylum applicant seeking refuge. According to the Washington Post a young mother from Hondurous travelled for the intent to America but said she'll settle for Mexico to avoid the financial burden. There has been a soaring number of migrants seeking refuge are settling for latin countries such as Mexico. Although America remains the world's top recipient of asylum petitions other smaller asylum systems are increasing.
