Russia asks Interpol for help over alleged CIA mole's whereabouts

Russia asked the U.S. where alleged CIA informant Oleg Smolenkov disappeared to. U.S. agents took him to the U.S. in 2017. CNN says Smolenkov spied on Putin and claimed Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Russian officials allege that Smolenkov has not worked for Russia, or been close to Putin, for several years.
