22-year-old environmental activist Disha Ravi has been arrested in India. Ravi is best known for her work as a founder of a local wing of Fridays For Future, which is a global movement started by Greta Thunberg. Ravi is a big advocate for climate change and people of colour who are effected by environmental racism. Vogue magazine even held her in high esteem last year after conducting an interview with her. This past weekend Ravi was arrested in connection with attending a protest to help farmers push back on agricultural law reforms. She presented a document intended to help them push back against the reforms, and this was deemed a "tool kit" to cause economic, social, and cultural war against the state of India. Despite friends and peers stating that Ravi has always been a law abiding activist, the state of India is currently condemning for her supposed acts of crime against the state.
