A Croatian man was detained for opening his gym to resist the government's anti-virus measures. This caused many people to rally in support of the detained man, believing that the government's shutdown of gyms, bars, and restaurants is causing more harm than good. Many of the protesters are small business owners who want to work with proper social distancing and hygiene measures. Small business owners argue that the government is not doing enough to help businesses that are suffering during these shutdowns. Croatia's COVID-19 death toll is 5,088.
