Donald Trump told a conservative conference in Florida that he has no plans to launch a new political party, because it would split the Republican vote. This was his first speech since Joe Biden became president, and he also hinted that he might run again for office in 2024. Not only that but he also criticized Joe Biden, saying US policy has gone from "America first to America last." Just last week, one U.S poll suggested 46% of surveyed Trump voters would vote for him if he left the Republicans and started his own party. His continued influence within the party is secure, but that influence into another presidential nomination is not sure, which means he'll have to earn it.
