Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, is planning on proposing a labor program similar to that of the old "bracero" program, which allowed immigrant workers to work in the US after WWII. His suggestion is to allow 600,000-800,000 workers the opportunity to work and help the US "produce and grow". However, nothing has been officially proposed yet, considering Biden has yet to propose the legislation to give legal status/a path to citizenship to the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the US.
