As of this past friday Mexico has lost 155,145 people due to the Corona virus pandemic, making them the 3rd deadliest country in the world. Just surpassing India in death tolls, Mexico now follows behind Brazil and the United States in death rates related to Covid19. Much like the rest of the world, Mexico is facing a shortage of supplies (such as hospital beds and ventilators) and doctors are overwhelmed. Despite the rapid increase of cases in the country, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obradorm insists that the end is just around the corner. Their total amount of cases currently sits at 1.8 million.
