“Dangerous Moment” for Europe, as Fear and Resentment Grow

Many people of the Muslim faith and Islamic countries have migrated to European countries and brought with them their cultural and religious practices, which differ from the countries in which they settle. Those differences tend to make the everyday life of that country uncomfortable and Europeans begin to fear the different cultures and way of life.

In France, people who worked for the newspaper, Charlie Hebdo, were shot and killed by Muslims because the magazine printed cartoons that satirized Muhammad, the leader of the Islamic faith. The two radicalized Muslims found this an insult to their faith. The very next day, there was another attack at a Jewish Deli, and four people died. After the two attacks, European discomfort and resentment towards Muslims has increased.
