A recent attack in Syria left the son of a top Hezbollah commander dead along with four other fighters. This attack has lead to increase tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. They have shied away from direct confrontation since the last war they were in 2006, but this may trigger a new conflict. According to Lebanese political analyst Imad Salamey a direct conflict is unlikely due to the fact that the Hezbollah have many men in Syria and could not possible open up a front in Lebanon. This is still a dangerous situation and could possible lead to further conflict.
