ICC opens inquiry into possible war crimes in Middle East conflict

On January 17, 2015 Israel is being looked at by the ICC or International Criminal Court for possible war crimes by the Palestinians but many feel that the Palestinians do not have the right to accuse them. They feel this because Israel is a law abiding country and “The Palestinian Authority is not a country and therefore it is not the court’s place…to carry out an examination like this”. It all began with the Palestinians’ signing of the Rome Statue. Although no one has been found guilty yet, this will give both sides the opportunity to talk openly, discuss and investigate the accusations that have been made. Through discussions and observations it will urge both sides to resolve their differences and make negotiations on how to proceed.
