Is the Visa waiver program a danger to Americans?.

The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) allows citizens of participating countries* to travel to the United States without a visa for stays of 90 days or less, when they meet all requirements. With terror attacks becoming the norm these days is it really safe to keep allowing foreign citizens the right to enter the U.S. without a visa? Just look at what happened on Wednesday, terrorists attacked magazine Charlie Hebdo and killed 12 people. France is one of the countries allowed to enter the U.S. in this program, and the terrorists were French citizens. What’s stopping other terrorists from obtaining fake passports or going through a visa waiver country to enter the U.S.? Sen. Dianne Feinstein, a Democrat and former Senate Intelligence Committee chairwoman is a big opponent of this program saying “it's the Achilles heel of America.” However defenders of the U.S. visa waiver program say “it has heightened U.S. security by increasing intelligence sharing between countries.”  So maybe it’s time to re think programs like these to keep our country safe. Or maybe we keep things as they are because U.S. security is at an all time high. You decide. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/229146-visa-waiver-program-poses-security-threat-senator-says
