Janurary 17, 2015. With tensions running high in Europe following the attack on Charlie Hebdo, there are a lot of reports coming out of Europe involving raids taking place in Belgium and Germany. Earlier this afternoon (3:30 pm ET) a report on Aljazeera America confirms that Greek police have cracked down on four individuals suspected in the alleged plot to kill police in Belgium. The arrest include one individual who is believed to be the ringleader of the entire plot operation. The details behind the foiled plot in Belgium involve police finding Kalasnikov assault rifles, explosives, ammunition, and communication equipment. An unnerving discovery is the police uniforms that were also recovered. It will be interesting to see how events will develop in the coming days following the attack on Charlie Hebdo. With the printing of Charlie Hebdo's Muhammad cover, anti-Charlie Hebdo protests have sparked in Pakistan and Somalia condemning "anti-Islam acts." Tensions are going to run dangerously high before they quell into seeming normalcy again (if only).
