There has been a 7 hour gap in the phone call logs of former President Donald Trump on January 6th during the height of the insurrection. The logs show eight phone calls early in the morning, including calls to Steve Banon and Rudy Giuliani, both of whom were trying to get the 2020 Election overturned. Then later on during the night, there were phone calls to 11 people. However, this contradicts multiple claims of republicans congressmen who claimed they had spoken to the President Trump throughout the day during the insurrection.
These facts indicate that Trump may have been communicating using burner phones, claims which he has denied, saying he has never heard of the term before. Many claims about January 6th with not much clearness. The day is still elusive about what actually went down.
