Since Russia decided to invade Ukraine that night of February 24th they have certainly made progress in the country, taking over places such as Chernobyl. However, Russia has had some issues making advancements and the capital of Ukraine Kyiv has not fallen. President Zelensky is in Ukraine, while Ukrainian forces are fighting to defend their homeland.
It is being reported that peace talks are possible as Russia continues their attack to not much success. This on top of the heavy sanctions places on Russia crippling their economy and country is certainly enough of a reason for Russia to stop the war but will they? Why would Putin stop now? If he does decide to pull out and end this war, will the rest of the world accept that and continue business in Russia? Personally I can't see that happening. Putin is now an outcast to the rest of the world and will not be respected and should not be respected by others.
