Honduras' Supreme Court approves extradition of former president to the US

The Supreme Court of Honduras has unanimously agreed to extradite its former president, Juan Orlando Hernández to the US for the charges of drug trafficking.  He is also charged with firearms possession. He would allegedly have committed these crimes in exchange for big bribes.

Orlando's brother is currently serving a life sentence in the US for the same crimes and the ex-president is thought to be part of the same organization. There are witnesses of some of the transactions that would be vital for the case. All of this would have happened while running for president in 2013
